Zoe Wang '21 Recruiting Profile

I am excited compete at the collegiate level for track and field because I love the sport and the team atmosphere. I like the track community especially because everyone has their own event that they can excel in yet still have a full team cheering them on. I would love to continue my track career through college as the exercise is a real stress reliever for me. The hard work that comes with racing satisfies me, and I love how at practices, you get to build relationships while also working out. It is really nice to get to work out with other people who will encourage you and help you get through a hard work out, while you get to do the same. While I enjoy track, I also enjoy gymnastics. Similarly to track, I really love my team and working out with them. Whenever I have a mental block, they are always there to cheer me on. Even though it may take awhile for me to learn a skill that I am really afraid of, I will keep working on it until I finally do it. Although winning medals is nice, being able to compete skills that I wasn't able to do before because of mental blocks is what makes me feel more accomplished.
