I am a female Track & Field athlete from Rio Mesa High School, whose alumni include Angela Burnham, Marion Jones, and Porchea Carroll. Because I come after such top sprinters, it's motivated me to try to be the best I can in competitions, as well as in my studies. My most important goal is to get into a top academic university that can challenge my athletic abilities as well as my mind. I hope one day to be in a field that helps people, possibly in the sciences. Although I tend to be a late starter on the field and in the classroom, my record shows I'm always able to finish ahead or on top, mostly because I choose never to give up. I hope any school that is considering me, does the same.
