Hello! My name is Emilie Barrett. I am a senior this year at Palos Verdes High School in California. I transferred from Notre Dame Academy to Palos Verdes this year. Notre Dame Academy was not giving me the support I need in order to run competitively in college. This is my fourth year in competitive running. In my freshman year, and continuing on to senior year I consistently been on Varsity Cross Country, Soccer, and Track & Field. I was awarded MVP for both Varsity XC and Track & Field my freshman through junior year, and even was able to win the Sunshine League division title for Varsity Girls for Cross Country and Track the last two years. I was also Athlete of the Year for Notre Dame Academy in 2019; they did not give this award last year due to Covid. Academically, I have been straight A student the past 3 years with a 4.24 gpa.
