My collegiate goal is to enhance my knowledge and achieve a degree in criminal justice to obtain a respectful position as an investigator or detective. I believe that achieving a higher level of education in society is incredibly important as it governs my future and without it, I would not be able to accomplish the many tasks society needs completed in order to survive. Pursuing a degree in criminal justice will allow doors to open due to the vast need in this field.
Track is my life, my passion and I am dedicated, driven and committed to it. I have been running track since the age of 7. I work hard everyday to be better then I was yesterday. I feel that what sets me apart from other recruits is that I complete intense workouts on my own including hills, long distance, and weight training because I feel as a sprinter it is important to have endurance and stamina. I feel that as an athlete I am humble, loyal, and honest and what motivates me is focusing on the win. Throughout my track career, I have competed in various events such as the 50 meters, 100 meters, 400 meters, 200 meters, 800 meter run, 1600 meter run, long jump, high jump, as well as starter and anchor of sprint relays. Competing in this many events allows me to be versatile. I am extremely quick out of the blocks and use that to my advantage. I would be a good candidate for your team because of my desire to win.
I am extremely motivated and prepared to excel in college. I am up to the challenge of what college is going to bring to me and know that in order to achieve my goals I must strive for excellence. I am determined to study hard and receive my degree in Criminal Justice. I am so excited to begin this next chapter in my life.
