2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have always participated in athletics, but I discovered that my love for competing in track and field exceeded other sports. Ever since I found my passion for running at a young age, I knew I would want to compete at a collegiate level.
I am a full time student athlete at Soroco High School where I am an active member of our FFA Chapter, local 4-H club, and NHS program. I would like to further my education, and acquire a series of skills that will allow my to become a successful and independent adult in the work force. At this point in my career, I am interested in a career involved in agriculture, but am open to all other options as well.
I am a leader to all of the programs I am involved in, yet I can follow others as well. I am a quick learner and am open to all options and teachings. I am looking forward to being a first generation of college attendees in my family, creating a lifestyle I can enjoy, and making my family proud.

- I spent two days in Casper, WY during the past two summers improving my hurdle and sprint technique. Some of the most experienced and world renown coaches were there to advise and coach me. The coaching staff included Tonie Campbell (hurdles), Mike Powell (long jump), and Greg Simmons (sprints, hurdles, and block work).
