Personal Statement

My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be offered an athletic scholarship to participate in either women's basketball or outdoor track and field as a shot put thrower.  While competing at the collegiate level, I aspire to earn a bachelor's degree in education so that I can positively impact future generations of individuals to succeed in both academics and athletics.  There are several reasons I am an excellent candidate for a collegiate team. I am an individual that is able to excel in academics, athletics, and extracurricular activities through hard work and perseverance. Not only do I excel in all of these areas, but I am also a leader that is able to share my knowledge and attributes with others in order for them to excel as well.  As a player, I am willing to do whatever is necessary to support the success of the team; I try to be a true team player. My academic talents and strengths also support me in being a more coachable athlete. Above all else, I am excellent at building collaborative relationships with peers, educators, and coaches that support both my academic and athletic growth.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
