Personal Statement
I am an overcomes and have faced many challenges in life already. I have faced these challenges head on and learned from them and improved myself as a result. I am seen as a team player and leader by my friends and coaches. I am honored to be chosen as captain for my track team as a junior. My goals are to work with people who also face challenges and help them succeed through a Communications Disorder degree and become a Speech and Language Pathologist. I look forward to being part of a learning community and team that will both challenge and support me; where I can share my strengths and improve my weaknesses.
