Personal Statement
I’ve always been active since a young child. I started off my track career by running the Kiddie Mile at the South Florida Fair in 3rd grade. After that I just knew I wanted to run track. I started officially running in 7th grade at Village Academy, a K-12. For my age I was fast so my coach thought it was best to run high school track and since then I’ve made it to regionals 3 times and was a finalist in the 100, 200, and 4x1. I always play Volleyball and Cheer for my school in the track off-season. I am a A/B student with a 3.33 G.P. A. Joining a collegiate team would be a great accomplishment and would help my family out very much. Being a first-gen everything is still new to us.
