I’m determined to achieve my Doctoral degree in Nursing while enhancing transferable skills on and off the track. I’ve been inspired to pursue a professional track and field career ever since discovering my explosiveness and endurance in middle school. The trials and tribulations that track and field have brought into my life have challenged me mentally and physically. This has shaped me into a disciplined and resilient individual. This has also helped me in my academic and social life. My academic goals for high school are to graduate Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian for my graduating class of 2023. In pursuit of my Doctoral degree I plan to graduate with a 4.0 gpa at any University that blesses me with the chance to represent their school. My quick twitch muscle fibers allow me to explode out of the blocks. The strength that I have acquired from my gymnastics background helps me maintain my form during an event. My mindset sets me apart from many other athletes. The unique combination of gymnastics and track and field has equipped me with a rare skill set. As a triple threat individual, I have learned the value of hard work, commitment and leadership and can’t wait to make a immediate impact on a collegiate team.
