Sophia Richard '24 Recruiting Profile

As someone relatively new to track -after fiercely competing and progressing in gymnastics for over ten (10) years- I am hungry to become as fast, successful, and strong as possible. I desire to be part of a team and program that will push me, train me, and position me to break school records, earn conference titles, and become the ultimate student-athlete, not only for my success but for the success of my teammates. I believe I have the temperament, maturity, versatility, dedication and grit to be, not just a good fit for a high caliber program, but a great teammate, as well. As my career aspiration is to become a veterinarian, it is imperative that I enroll in a university/college where academic rigor is a priority and I may receive the education and training I need to prepare for my future career. I do not just want to be a great student-athlete, I want to be the best student-athlete I can be.
