I grew up trying every sport I could get my hands on. Some of them I was very good at, others I just loved the sport. I played softball for 13 years and soccer for 9. Softball I was very good at. Soccer was not as easy. I worked hard everyday at that practice and kept trying. I realized before softball that it was not for me. In fourth grade, a friend of mine was wearing a cross country jacket. I thought it was so cool, so I decided to join. The first day I new that it was what I wanted to do and I was good at it. My Freshman year, I stopped doing softball so I could join track. I had been doing it since I was about three years old, but I new that running was where I was supposed to be. I am now a sophomore and I can honestly say that running was the greatest decision I have ever made. It has made me who I am. Everyday I work hard at practice because I love what I do and I want to get better. I strive to make my team and me to be as great as possible. I love my team and I know if we all work hard we can go far.

Academic Accomplishments
Honors Classes:
Yes. I'm in honors chemistry, Spanish, Algebra/Trig, Geometry, and English. Almost all of my classes last year were also honors. Next year all of my classes that have an honors category are honors. It would be too easy to be in regular classes.
AP Classes:
Yes. Right now I'm in AP U.S. History and next year I will be in AP Literature. They are difficult, but I like the challenge they present me.
