Personal Statement
Signed my National Letter of Intent to University of Alabama - It has been an amazing journey but I have found my home in Alabama - Roll Tide.
Won Conference & Sectionals and came in 2nd in State on attempts, cleared 12 feet. Leg is getting better everyday!!!
My name is Autumn Conn and I am extremely passionate about pole vaulting. I have been vaulting since my freshman year. My sophomre year-2010 track season I qualified for state and cleared 9'6" tying for 13th. For my Junior year I cleared 10'9" and placed 8th. Over the summer I competed in the USATF Regional Qualifier and cleared 11'6. In the past few months I have cleared 12' at a few different meets. Most recently I came in 2nd, with a 12 foot vault at the USATF Indoor National Meet. I looking forward to a new PR very soon. It is my dream to pole vault in college. My goal for the future is to compete in the highest pole vault competitions possible including after I graduate. I hope to receive a scholarship athletically and also academically. I am interested in attending a Division I or II school. I would like to study psychology and get my Psy.D.
