My parents have impacted me a lot; they are the biggest influences in my life. They are the reason that I am who I am today, on and off the court. They push me to do my best, but always want me to work hard and have fun while doing what I love. I became interested in sports at the age of four years old. I started with gymnastics and competed at a young age; but once I entered fifth grade, I decided to try basketball and fell in love with the sport. Then in Jr. High I got involved in track and found my passion for running. Something about the competitiveness of basketball and the independence of track sparked my interest and has kept me striving to excel. When I am on the court or running out on the track I am always finding a way to better myself and my team. My goal for high school is to get a 3.0+ GPA and continue to pursue higher education once I graduate. Currently, I have an interest in pursuing teacher education; however, I am still exploring other career options such as counseling or sports therapy. I believe I will bring many positive attributes and skills to a college team. I am a team player, who is hardworking, determined, respectful, encouraging, and positive.
