My Name is N'dia Jackson and I go to Lanphier Highschool in Springfield, IL. My graduation year is 2019. I have been a captian of Lanphier's Track and Field team since my Junior year and team leader since I have came to Lanphier. I started running track in 7th grade at Franklin Middle school where I qualified for IESA 2A State meet my first year. I have made many marks in the track and field industry my middle and high school career. I plan to continue out and make an even bigger impact throughout college. My duty is not only to be a hardworking athlete but a hard working students as well. At Lanphier High school I am a member of National honors society, and AVID. I have maintained a 4.5 GPA while on honor roll, and high honor roll. I also did this while taking AP and Honors classes and still managing to lead my team and set an example inside and outside of practice.
Outside of school I am a member of our local 4H organization where I work on different projects throughout the community. Recently I was a contestant in this years 2018 Fashionetta Debutante run by Alpha Kappa Alpha where I received runner up. This program allowed me to interact with other young women and men in my age group where we bond, practice, complete community service projects, and put on a ball for our family and friends at the end. I am also a member of Holy City Missionary Baptist Church where I am on the praise dance team. I describe myself as a team member and also a very good leader. I am the oldest of 4 children and would like to be the one to show an example for my siblings and younger family members. I think what sets me aside from other athletes is my drive, anything I set my mind to I accomplish. I plan to major in biology. My mission is to find the right school for me so that I can be the best athlete for you!
