Personal Statement
First and foremost my goal is to get a college degree, while also being a student college athlete. I continue to work hard and improve my times. My cross country coach picked me as the team captain as a junior, where I enjoyed being a leader for the team. Having been a cheerleader for 12 years now I am very good at cheering others on to do their best. During my off seasons from track and cross country I have ran a 10 mile race and completed my first half marathon, on my own. I was pleased with how well I did and am looking forward to many races in my future. When I set a goal I am determined to achieve it.
