Personal Statement

I moved almost 1,000 miles away from home 4 years ago and have found my true passion here: running.

I've always been athletic, but never truly felt like I fit in with the sports I played.  Shortly after moving to Kentucky, I decided to try something new, and it was the best decision ever! The sport of running makes me feel at home, and the competitiveness fuels my ambitious personality.

I'm also very enthusiastic about my academics. I recently got accepted into the 21-22 school year at my local community college, OCTC. I'm currently working towards my Associate in Science in conjunction with my HS diploma. My academic goals are to become a veterinary neurologist/ exotic veterinarian. After high school, I want to run competitively as long as possible and work towards acceptance into veterinary school!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
