Hi my name is Marcaylla Louis-Jean. Class of 2024 and the events I do are 100,4x100, Triple jump, long jump, and 2 other events occasionally. I am in honors classes/advanced classes. I take Advanced Placement classes and have scheduled to take more my senior year. I also do dual enrollment at Bunker Hill Community College with a focus on medical related courses so I can gain more insight in the major I'll study in college which is Nursing.
After trying numerous events in Track and field I started jumping events outdoor season (2023) and it wasn't a choice at first but I slowly fell in love with it. First meet I did triple jump, I couldn't even make it into the pit to the last meet of the season only being only a few inches off of qualifying for states, and I haven't looked back! I am very excited to continue to learn, develop, and continue to grow as I continue my young career in track and field and I am looking forward to the next challenge at the collegiate level!
I am looking for a college or university to be a perfect balance that supports me academically by providing the major I'm interested in as well as a strong track and field program to help support me athletically and the experience to continue to pursue my dreams both academically and athletically.
