Personal Statement

I joined the Marshfield High School track team when I was a freshman looking for a sport to get involved with during the winter season.   When I first decided to join, I was not very sure if I would like it. Ever since I was kid, my family, friends, and peers thought I was destined to be on the track. Joining track my freshman year honestly has to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. There has been many aspects of my high school career that has impacted me, but track has definitely impacted me the most. I have grown stronger both mentally and physically through track.Track has shown me that failure is guaranteed in life, but how you try to change and fix yourself afterwards is what is important. It has showed me that there are always ways to improve yourself. It has taught me how to be a leader and it pushes me to be the best I can be every single day.
