Kiera Hansen '22 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be the best at what ever I do, whether that be in the classroom or on the track. My parents and teachers often say I'm a perfectionist. I give 100% effort toward everything. I enjoy staying active and being creative.  In my spare time I enjoy hobbies such as art, sewing, and baking. I grew up in an athletic atmosphere with both my parents being Division 1 athletes and high school coaches, and they have supported me since I started my running career. When I was younger I played a variety of sports such as; basketball, softball, soccer, swimming, track, and cross country. I continue to participate in basketball, track and cross country as a high school athlete. My favorite sport is cross country, with second being track. I started running when I was 4 years old, and began competing when ever an opportunity came across. I have had years of experience and I've learned many skills needed to become successful. I have always loved running and I enjoy the challenge as I continue my career. Sports have taught me valuable life lessons such as teamwork, leadership, dedication and responsibility. My overall athletic desire is to compete at a great school where I can get a quality education.
