As a high school athlete, my passion is running cross country and track. At first, I started running just to give me something to do, but it turned into something that I love. I have ran cross country and track since my freshman year. I run cross country full time, but have yet to run a full track season due to being a full time softball player. However, I have decided to let go of varsity softball so that I can be a full time track runner. I am also letting go of varsity basketball so that I can run in the off season. I am looking to further my running career at the collegiate level. While running is very important to me, academics is very important as well. I strive to be the best athlete and student that I can be. I come from a background of good values and parents that push me to be the best, not only as an athlete but as a human being. While in college for running, I plan on studying Anesthesiology.
