Taylor Conley '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Taylor Conley I am a senior in highschool. I am 5'5, I currently weigh about 125, I have always been fast growing up and one of the fastest kids in my school. My volleyball coach couldn't believe how as a freshman I could beat seniors. I currently now only run track; it's my passion. I workout at least once a day to make sure I stay in shape and workout to keep my legs in shape. Some major accomplishments I have done is I got invited to go to San Diego, CA this past summer to run in the Calfornia State Meet. I ran hurdles. I was invited my sophomore year to go. I have went to state every year of my track highschool career except this past year. I got a swollen spleen and was unable to go pass Districts. But in Districts last year I made All-District Champion. My sophomore year I made all All-Districts and All-Sectional for both hurdles. Then in my freshman year I came out being 2nd in 100M Hurdles and 3rd in 300M Hurdles in district. I was co-captian last year for my team, I was always on the field supporting our team cheering our team on for everything! Ever since I started track my 7th grade year, i've dreamed about running for a great college and even hopefully maybe going further on in life with track like going to the Olympics. I've always been dedicated to this sport, I work my absolute hardest every practice. I push myself to become better and better each day. I am open to anything and everything when it comes to finding a college! I don't have a certain place I really want to go to right now. I have been looking at Drake University in Des Moines, IA though. My family and I have been looking into FAFSA. I believe I have figured out what I want to do in life. I've been looking at Sports Therapy and becoming a track coach. I always want to be there for athletics and help them do their best. My athletic goals is to be accepted to a great college and be able to run apart of their track team, it would be the biggest honor ever!(:
