Throughout the years I have tried many different sports ranging from soccer to gymnastics. Out of all of the sports I have tried running has brought the most happiness in my life. I started in sixth grade in a running club at my middle school and continued on to high school as I fell in love with running. My dedication carried on not only in athletics but in academics as well. All of my life I have put my school work first and managed my time as responsibly as possible. I knew that time management and the ability to put work first was crucial, especially as a college athlete. This has allowed me to maintain a 4.0 GPA, while placing 19th at the Cross Country Nevada State Meet as a freshman. I plan on pushing myself even more so I can have a time of at least sub 19 in a 5k by the end of my junior cross country season. I also would love to do track in field in college as well, especially D1. I know I have some work to do with my time but I have the determination and mindset to do so.
