Alyssa Whipkey '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working student both in class and on the field. I love to achieve my goals and do not stop until I reach them. I am a very coachable athlete who likes to please their coach, listen to their advice and follow their guidance . I get along well with my fellow athletes and often use them to push myself further in my career to pursue my goals. If I lose or do not do as well as I wanted, it does not make me give up... it makes me strive to do better.  I was awarded State Champion 2014 throwing the javelin at a distance of 133''11 . This year my goal is to go above and beyond last years accomplishments and become the Meet of Champion 2015. I will work as hard as needed to achieve my goal. Yes, I may have raw flaws in my technique but with an accomplished coach, I know they will make me the thrower I hope someday I will be.  I was voted South Jersey Thrower of the year in 2014. Throwing is my passion and all I would like to do is: throw farther and pursue the next step in my throwing career. I know I would be a great addition to your team if some of your prerequisites are a dedicated and hard working player.
