Catherine Seidl '20 Recruiting Profile

I am currently entering my senior year of high school and this will be my fourth year competing on a varsity track and cross country team. I immediately fell in love with running freshman year, and sense then, the sport has really changed my life. It is my dream to have the opportunity to compete at a college level. I eagerly train year around because I have a true passion for doing as best as I physically can in a season. There is no other feeling in the world like pushing your body to its breaking point using just determination for the sake of your coach and team.  This is why I run cross country.  Racing steeplechase and hurdles in track is how a runner flies. Soaring over barriers and water at full speed has given me a unique kind of confidence which I use to hurdle all kinds of barriers that life puts in my path.
