I am a Junior at Camden High School, I have been playing field hockey since my 7th grade year. Joining the team has been the greatest decision I could’ve made, it has helped to form the person I am today. Field hockey has allowed me to work in a team atmosphere and grow confident in myself and others on my team. I am currently playing field hockey year round for my school and winter and summer leagues. During my years playing I have played both midfield and defense. I earned the Scholar Athlete Award and I was inducted into Camden’s National Honor Society during my junior year of high school. Halfway through my junior year I was injured and I was told I wouldn’t be able to play contact sports for the school again. However, after many doctors appointments and meetings with the athletic director at my school I will be able to play for my senior year and I am very thankful for the opportunity to continue with my sport. It is my dream to further my education at a school where I can also play the sport that is my greatest passion.
