I’m a girl who grew up within a low income household. I had it a bit rough growing up between parental issues and having cancer at the age of 5. Throughout those issues I found my passion for volunteering and wanted to give back in different ways. Now I’m a firefighter and on my way to becoming an EMT while being a full time student. I’ve learned that although it’s a lot to take on, you must persevere to meet your own goals throughout life.
