Personal Statement

I would have to say my journey in track has been a ride. Through the ride I was and am grateful to have support from my dad, mom, and grandparents. They all have taught me to find what i want to do in life and what makes me happy and chase to be great at it. They also instilled in me that grades and school comes before sports. Track has taught me so many things that apply to life and I am grateful to be apart of this sport.

From the time I was 6 years old, I knew track was where my heart would be. I have grown as a student athlete over the years. I moved around to different schools between the ages of 9 and 12. I was fortunate enough to move to Gahanna, Ohio with a track team full of aspiring athletes. On this team I learned about discipline, leadership, motivation, and focus. I am a very friendly person so getting along with my teammates was natural. I am very excited to say that I will be a captain for the Gahanna Lady Lions Track Team for the year '16-'17. After high school I definitely want to take my track career to the collegiate level. As a two-time All-American, two-time indoor state champion, and first time outdoor state champion, I believe and know that I have the qualities and work ethic to be apart of your team!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
