Running has always been a passion of mine and I am glad I get to compete competitively against many other great athletes. I believe I would be a valuable asset to any collegiate team because of my running ability, my determination and drive, and my dedication to my academics. I qualified for the Cross Country State Championships as an individual, in the most difficult district in Pennsylvania, as a freshman, sophmore, and junior. Also, I was the first leg of my indoor and outdoor state qualifying 4x800 relay in my sophmore year, as well as the 1200 runner of our indoor state medaling Distance Medley Relay. Being one of the top runners on my cross country and track teams, as well as succeeding greatly in my academics, for I am in the top 3% of my class of over 600 students, I believe my hard work is very visible. I have intensified my training by increasing my mileage and I am very determined to stay on track and focused for upcoming seasons. I look forward to continuing my strong running career and academic life for the rest of my high school years and throughout college.
