Personal Statement

My ideal college is one that is diverse and competitive both academically and athletically. I've improved a lot during my 2022-2023 seasons of track and cross country and still believe my ceiling is so much higher, which motivates me to work harder every day!

My strength as a runner is my ability to perform at a high level in a wide range of events, which allows my coach to plug me in wherever I can best help our team win.

What I love about running is the camaraderie I feel with my teammates as we strive to both get better as a team and individual competitors. I also have really enjoyed over the years getting to meet new people throughout the Carolinas with the same passion for running - many of which are my biggest competitors, but also have become great friends too.
