Steph Gemar '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7 senior discus thrower from Mobridge, South Dakota. I have been the top discus thrower on the Mobridge-Pollock Varsity Track team for the past four seasons and had the farthest throw of any South Dakota girl's discus thrower over the course of both the 2012 and 2013 seasons. My sophomore year, I finished in third place at the state meet, and this past season I won state in discus with a throw of 148'2. Very recently, I have taken up the hammer throw as well. 

I have a 4.14 GPA, a 2170 overall SAT score, and a 32 ACT score. A school with a good track program where I can learn and improve is more important to me than where I would personally rank on the team. A school with good academics is a must. I do not specifically care about size of school, and location is not an extremely important issue for me.
