Danielle Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Danielle Johnson. If you’re reading this than you probably don’t know me, so my goal is to share my dream in a matter of seconds. Since I was a baby, competition was my addiction. I crave the adrenaline rush once I cross a finish line first  or score the highest in a school of 4,000 kids.  I’m also a fighter. I’ve only lived a quarter of a lifetime, yet adversity is my best friend.  It’s difficult finding a recruit that stands out, but are you looking in the right places?  There’s never an obstacle I can’t push through because I’ve dealt with worse. I don’t need to run or reside in the top 10% of school academics,  but I want to. I want to be the best and it’s my biggest motivation. I don’t set goals based on anyone else because they don’t live up to the expectations I want to fulfill. You can’t stand out trying to reach another person’s aspirations. My dream is to be my biggest competition. The only way I can achieve that is to express my potential under a team willing to give me an opportunity.
