Jessica Kenney '13 Recruiting Profile

I am 5"1 and 100 pounds. I began my freshman year at Flower Mound High School with a PR of 13:55 in the 2009-2010 season. In the 2010-2011 season of my sophomore year. I managed to get my time down to a 12:34. During the 2011-2012 season, my time has dropped to an 11:31. I continue to improve as time passes and I get stronger. I am hard-working and dedicated, and will run hard and try my best, as I have continuously done since the first day of practice. People say my best qualities are that I work hard, get along well with people, (I'm very open to whoever you may be as an individual), and I have a caring heart. I am open to any type of schools, whether big or small, or D1 or D3. I have not decided what is to be my major. The decision is one that will affect the rest of my life, so I don't want to be rash. The final decision comes down to Nutrition or Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine, Forensic Sciences and Psychology. I am also interested in a Business Degree. My goals as an athlete are to compete at the highest level possible, and to be a leader to the rest of my team. I am team captain for the high school I currently attend.
