Here’s my story, I was an excellent thrower in middle school and received awards. I continued my journey into high school but began declining because of mental health related issues. Long story short I dropped out of track and would eventually move schools, where there was no track and field, when I feeling better. After all these years I miss the sport greatly, I lost it once and I’m unwilling lose it again. I’m a good candidate because I’m adaptable, I understand my situation and I’m willing to achieve my goals and go beyond expectations to accomplish my dreams . I’m stronger now, not only mentally, but spiritually and physically. I’ve accomplish those aspects in what I believe an athlete should be great in, and I’m building it higher. I’m driven and I’m hungry for my younger self to achieve the greatness she desired. Academically, I’m a great student, I had a’s and b’s my first semester of college, and was s “b” student in high school and a distinguish grad. At the end of the day, all I’m asking for is a chance to prove myself.
