My name is Kourtney Brown and I have been running since 7th grade. I did not start really running until my cross country season of my freshmen year. I was the first and only freshmen on the varsity team at my school for cross country and track. I made it on the regionals for track and cross country and am working hard to make it on to state this next season for cross country. I have been running for the Afterburner track club for over a year now. I made it on to the junior Olympics and got 9th in both of my races. I love running the 5k and the 1500. I also run 3000 and 4x800. This pass track season my team and I made it into Texas Relays and ran the 4x800 and the distance medley relay. We did really good for the first time. I would be good for your college because I am a fast and hard worker and can get along really well.
