When I was younger I used to play softball in the spring but then there came this oportunity to run track in the 7th grade.  So I took a chance on it and decided to join, since that day I have loved being part of a huge team and have very much enjoyed meeting new people through this sport. Every day I look forward to having practice right after school because it allows me to go to a state of mind where all I have to focus on is just track. In the summer of 2016 I was given an opportunity to go to Australia through Down Under Sports to compete and their anual track meet.  Next thing I knew I was on a plane on my way to make one of the best memeories in my life.  Being able to compete there really opened up my mind and gave me more confidence to persue my track career and I am very grateful for that.
