Personal Statement

Hello, 

My name is Marisa Jennings

 I have played Volleyball greater than six years and  I am currently a Junior at  Shades Valley High School (SVHS). My volleyball experience includes being a member of my High School JV, Varsity, and travel ball teams. My specialty is Defensive Specialist, and I have played all around. I was the captain of the Junior Varsity team at SVH.

My goal in college is to major in Nursing as there are greater than eight nurses in my immediate family. I love helping people in every aspect, and nurses are like angels.

 I am a great candidate for any team because I am coachable and my action on the Volleyball court is evidence that I have a love for VB. I am a team player and I am a very determined person. What makes me different than others is that I am a very unselfish player and work hard to ensure that I give it my all everytime I step on the court. I am coachable, I encourage my teammates, and I am on track to gradate early in December 2022 with a 3.8 GPA.
