Carly Burington '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches!

I am Carly Burington. I graduated from Service High School in 2019 and committed to play for Tacoma Community College in Vancouver, WA. Due to the "covid season", I had the chance to play 3 seasons of junior college volleyball with head coach, Katlyn Mataya. As a team, we earned 2 Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) championship tournament appearances placing 4th in 2019 and 11th in 2021. 

My academic goal for continuing college is to obtain a Bachelor of Science in the health/medicine science field. I am a dedicated and hard working student athlete in the class room, in the gym, on the court, and in study hall. I have 3 years of experience juggling the busy schedule of a college athlete, but I want more. I am driven and excited to push myself into higher levels of academic and athletic achievement. I thrive in a team environment and always try to lead by example. Volleyball has always been and always will be a huge part of my life; I would love nothing more than to have an opportunity to play two more seasons.
