Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Savannah Cockerham. I am a junior at Valdez High School. This upcoming season will be my 6th year of playing volleyball. I am hoping to get the opportunity to play at the next level in college. I am a leader, coachable, competitive, and will do whatever it takes to help my team succeed. Being from a small town in Alaska, I have had the opportunity to learn how to balance school and sports due to the extensive travel. My closest confrence team is a six hour drive from Valdez. With this amount of traveling, I have learned how to manage my time, while still putting in 100% to both academics and my team.
