Tielle Hagel '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a competitive athlete who is extremely motivated to play post-secondary volleyball.   I have grown up in a family who play a variety of sports and love to compete.  Their support and encouragement have helped me choose the sport I want to train in and grow as an athlete - volleyball.  I have been raised with the principles that hard work, dedication, and heart can take you places.   I have learned that being the first person to the gym and the last to leave is a philosophy that results in success.  I will continue to live by that philosophy in my athletic journey.   It is important to earn a position and playing time on any team, but I am prepared to work exceptionally hard to make that happen.  I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had in the past with my coaches and teammates, and I look forward to meeting new friends and mentors in the next chapter of my volleyball journey.    I would love the opportunity to play for a division 1 college team, and hope to pursue a career in psychiatry. I am very excited to find a school that will support my athletic and academic aspirations.
