Personal Statement
The goals that I carry into my next two years on high school and into college have and will stay constant. I want to play, I love the game and the game loves me. I want to play for a college that is right for me, not only the volleyball program and the coaches, but the atmosphere, campus, academics etc. I've always dreamed of how amazing college would be, but I could never imagine not being able to play the sport I love after high school. I've played this game for four years and my passion for the competition grows stronger every day. I work harder to better my individual self but also to contribute the best player I can be to my teammates and coaches. I differ from other recruits in a way that isn't tangible. I put myself out there, pushing myself to the limits, I'm a leader and i'm competitive but I also believe that the relationships on the court are just as important as the score on the scoreboard. I play 110% every time I touch a volleyball because I believe that every single rep can make you just that much better. In academics I work just as hard as I do on the court, in order to being an excellent athlete you have to also excel in academics. I work hard on time management because it is a skill needed in every aspect of life. I have at 3.8 GPA at the time and I take many AP courses in order to challenge myself and push my knowledge. I make sure to participate in many extracurricular activities because it is important to be well-rounded. And finally, to finish off I will leave with this; every time I step onto the court I think of these words, "Push yourself, because no one else is going to do it for you".
Thank you
