Being a setter, I am automatically thrown into the driver seat of my team. I have been told my entire life that I have the makings of a leader. A leader needs to not only know the way, but show the way and also, go the way. Every team needs a leader, sports related or not. A leaders responsibility is get the people surrounding them to their full potential. I try the best I can to get the athletes on my team to the best place they can be on that court. I believe a true athlete comes from the makeup of more than just talent. Athletes, in the whole definition, are those of commitment, desire, determination, an amazing work ethic, and above all a great love for their game.
