Eva Thomas '18 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete, I pride myself on my ability to learn and quickly adjust to instruction.  I have been playing volleyball since the 6th grade and have always received positive feedback from my coaches regarding how quickly I pick up new skills and rise to every challenge that they give me.  As a libero, making adjustments physically, while owning the court mentally, is critical, and this is what I strive to do – every day.  I pride myself on robbing great hitters of their great kills.  I will always be grateful for my successes, but really strive to turn all of my failures or challenges into great learning opportunities as well.  Being able to find a gold nugget from every experience – good or bad - is what differentiates me from every other libero, and will allow me to be able to accomplish my goal of always being the best defensive player in the gym.
