Personal Statement
I currently attend San Diego City College. I am a sophomore academically but still have three years of eligibility due to one loss year of play during COVID. I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade. I fell in love with the sport the moment I stepped on the court and I have dreamed of playing at the collegiate level ever since. Playing my first year at a community college really gave me a look at the level of competition at the collegiate level.
I have a strong jump serve, move quickly across the court and love to make blocks at the net. I am a team leader and lead by example while also motivating my teammates in a positive way. I am very coachable and always willing to learn new things to improve my game. I strive to be one the hardest working players and will be one of the hardest working recruits you'll find.
I want to attend a 4-year University so I can keep pushing myself academically as well as on the court. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match for me. I hope to become a great role model for my peers and make my parents proud.
