My name is Kennedy Freeman a 14 year old freshman at Carson High School in the engineering science education and technology program. My goals for college is to graduate with a bachelors degree in the engineering field and hopefully a scholarship. What makes me different from other girls is not only hoping to go to college as well but I have a lot of determination in what I do and passion, I don't only want to do this for my father who had and is still providing for me and my brother after my mother passed away from breast cancer, but I want it for myself to prove and break down all the barriers that stood and continue to stand in my way. I understand to be the best at what I do its not only the work in practice but the work I put in outside of practice that makes me a better and completive player. My characteristics have mainly been known to be seen as a leader and I agree, because often being the youngest on every team but tallest and biggest I've gain respect but I don't use and abuse I use it to help maintain the team and achieve our goals. When it comes to my academics I stay on top of my work although I talk a lot but I complete the task, and compared to others players I'm not one of the girls the coaches have to threaten or often stay on their cases about their grades
