I began playing volleyball competitively Freshman year of high school - later than a lot of my teammates and competitors, but I have been able to hold my own and have grown so much as a player and a person over these last few years. I absolutely love this sport and am so excited about the potential I have to grow even more and the contributions I know I will bring to a college team.
A little about me: in my free time, I love to write short stories. I also enjoy drawing and watching Japanese anime - preferably in Japanese! I currently volunteer at the Roundhouse Aquarium in Manhattan Beach, CA. I love everything about marine life and hope to study it more while in college and work with sharks, specifically as a career.
I continue to work on my game by practicing and competing on the sand during summer and would also love to put those skills to use on a sand team in college. I am very eager to join a team in college where I can continue to grow as a player, be part of a winning team and enhance my leadership skills - no matter what it takes!
