Hi, my name is Natalie. I have played volleyball for school and competitively since 6th grade. Through volleyball I have learned to never give up and learn from my mistakes. I am a dedicated team member and will always do what it takes to help the team and teammates.
Academics are important to me, and I would consider myself a hard worker. I do well in school although Math does not come easily to me. My skills in English, Biology, and Science are very good and I'm taking my third year of French. I keep working hard and improving each year and my goal is to earn a degree in Marine Biology. I also working on completing at least 400 hours of community service before graduation.
Something that I enjoy doing outside of volleyball that helps define me as a person is helping foster youth groups and I also have an active role in my leadership class at school. I have repelled down a 17 story building 2 times for a foster youth charity earning thousands of dollars. I also earned my scuba diving certificate at age 13 and study marine life regularly.
I am strong, tall, and determined, and being part of a college volleyball team is a goal and dream I have had since starting to play volleyball at a young age.
-Natalie
