Personal Statement
Tell coaches about your collegiate goals and aspirations. - I would like to attend a four-year college and try to earn a scholarship with programs that will help ensure the best education for me. In college I hope to major in the Medical field to become a nurse, but before that I would like to give back to those that do not have much and to help children find their passion in whatever they want to accomplish and take on in life. My collegiate goals are to not only better myself physically and mentally and to pursue what I am passionate about in life, but to help others do the same and to make my family proud.
What makes you a good candidate for their team? - I believe I am a good candidate for teams because I am a very hard-working, competitive, and a team player. I am always striving to do my best in everything handed to me and I'm very dependable, if you entrust me with a certain job you expect me to do, whether on or off the court, I will not let you down. I take constructive criticism very serious, I will always listen to what's being said and make the changes in which are asked of me. p>
What makes you different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics? - I am a very respectful and hard working player.Since an early age I have always been ambitious. Nothing anyone could say or do to me could make me want to stop anything once I set my mind to it, whether in my academic life or athletic life. I am a very versatile player when it comes to sports. I have played every position on the court. Whatever you ask of me I can get the job done, every coach I have played for has always depended on me to talk to, help, and lead the team. Because I am a determined player, I will never let you down. Being determined and ambitious not only helps me with athletics but with academics as well. For as long as I can remember, I have been a 3.9 to 4.0 student with Honors Classes. I take academics very seriously, I don't slack off because I know by slacking off I can risk my chances at not getting into the college of my choice.
