Volleyball has highlighted how well I uplift others and how I am very coachable. I have learned so much about teamwork, communication, and cooperation, which have allowed me to connect with my teammates and have more confidence on and off the court. Being a part of a team means so much to me and holds me accountable for my actions and mistakes. Knowing that I depend on my teammates, and they depend on me motivates me to become a better player. I push myself to be the best athlete and teammate I can, and I hold myself to high standards to achieve my goals, not only athletically, but also academically. As a student athlete I take pride in my ability to be dedicated to sports and stay persistent and focused with academics. I have maintained a 3.8-4.0 GPA for both my Freshman year, and Sophomore year of high school. I use what I learn from volleyball to become a better student, athlete, and person all around.
I was awarded All-Tournament Team in 2022 and received Offensive Player of the Year that same year. I have been a Scholar Athlete for both my 2021, and 2022 seasons of high school volleyball. I have been a starter for high school for the 2021 and 2022 season, as well as club since my 14s year. I was team Captain Freshman year of high school for the Frosh/Soph A team and Captain for my 14s year of club. I am a 5”9 Outside, Opposite, and Defensive Specialist with a vertical approach of 9”5. I am dedicated to the sport and always finding ways to get as many touches as possible.
I would love the opportunity to play volleyball in college at the highest competitive level possible for me and make a lasting impact on my teammates, coaches, and peers. I am open to different types of school but looking for a more Suburban style school that has a higher focus on academics. I would like to go to schools in the West or Mid-west Regions, and I am open to the Northeast if I felt the school was a fit. I enjoy science and I am very confident with my mathematical skills. I am undecided on majors and exploring areas that I would like to pursue.
