Hi, my name is Czyleah Pabustan. I'm a student at Central Catholic High School class of 2026. I really enjoy playing volleyball. Personally, the idea of being around people who push me to do what is best and help me strive to get better is the best community I could have. The idea of leadership in any sport, really inspires me. I’ve been told that one person can change the whole world, but if we break that up into sports terminology, the phrase itself means that it only takes one person to take the lead and make everyone better mentally and emotionally which manifest physically.
I will be an asset as an athlete because I set long term and short term goals that I know I am able to achieve. I set aside time to workout and put in the extra work. I will be an asset as a student because education is very important to me and I make sure to maintain my grades even with extracurricular activities. Lastly I will be an asset as a person because I have a positive attitude and try to lift the people around me. I always care and enjoy being around family and friends/teammates.
It is my dream to play volleyball in college. I'm proud of where I am now after facing many adversities. I still have lots of room to improve and I'm very much willing to do the work to get there.
