Hi, my name is Ashley Whittall. I am currently a senior at Norwalk High School. I achieved a 4.0 G.P.A for my last semester of school and have a cumulative G.P.A of 4.0. When I am not playing volleyball for my school, as a starter on varsity, I play for So-Cal Juniors Volleyball Club. Presently, I am on the 18 Select team, which is the highest ranked team for my entire club, in full rotation as an outside hitter.
Through playing volleyball, I have learned that it takes hard work and dedication to achieve your goals in life. I have only played volleyball for about four years, but in this time I gained skills that helped me advance from my high school's freshmen team (freshman year) to the varsity team (sophomore year). Because of volleyball, I have also learned how to work with and communicate with others better. These are skills that will be useful for not only my volleyball career, but for my whole life.
I started (May 2015) personal training through Champion's Quest to increase my vertical, foot speed, reaction time, and hitting power. I also have a private Volleyball Coach at Champions Quest that I get additional training, so in the future I can be competitive at the collegiate level.
